Why choose dental bridges?
- Aesthetic. When fitted in place, dental bridges are incredibly natural-looking. We match your new teeth to your existing ones for a stunning outcome.
- Strong. Bridges restore function to your smile, helping you eat and speak with confidence. They are also fixed in place, a more secure alternative to partial dentures.
- Supportive. Keep your natural teeth in their proper alignment by bridging the gap in your smile. This also maintains your face shape, avoiding premature sagging.
- Long-lasting. Dental bridges can last for many years if they are well-looked after, providing a durable restorative solution.

- Consultation
If you’re interested in a dental bridge, a consultation with us is the place to begin! We take time to discuss the benefits of a bridge for your individual case, and how it could help you achieve the smile you’ve been hoping for. We will also listen to any questions or concerns you have and put you at ease. - Planning & preparation
We examine your mouth, making sure the teeth that will support your bridge on either side of the gap are healthy and strong. We will prepare these abutment teeth for crowns by removing a layer of enamel, leaving a strong core. - Creating your bridge
When your teeth have been prepared, we will take impressions and record the colour of your natural teeth. This information is sent to the dental laboratory so your bridge can be custom-made to your individual requirements. During this time, we fit a temporary bridge to protect your exposed teeth. - Fitting your new smile
When your new bridge is ready, we will invite you for your fitting appointment. We will check your bridge fits perfectly, and you are completely happy with it, before fixing it into place using strong dental cement.
What are dental bridges?
Dental bridges are used to replace missing teeth and complete your smile. They are secure, durable, and custom-made to perfectly match the rest of your teeth for a very natural-looking result.
Our dental bridges in Winslow are typically made from porcelain bonded to precious metal, giving added strength while still focusing on aesthetics. We can use a variety of options depending on what is best for your case. These include conventional bridges, which use crowns attached to the supporting teeth, and adhesive bridges, which use metal or ceramic brackets that are glued in place.
